Ellie at 8 months:

Crawling army style EVERYWHERE

Exploring the world of cords uh oh

Bouncing off everything and everyone

Moving constantly

Laughing at big brother in the car and around the house

Saying "dada, baba, nana, mmm"

Coughing and laughing in a fake way on command

Looking for trouble and wanting to discover everything

Drinking Mommy's milk in a bottle (goal: 8.5-9 months)

Grunting, screeching, yelling, cooing back at us

Playing with her mini basketball goal.. loves it

Sitting, rolling, crawling, standing while holding onto something 

Throwing things

Enjoying alone time in the exersaucer and jumper

Showing a little anxiety when we leave the room or with someone new

Playing with Kip's cars and trucks

Sharing well

Loving it when Kip holds her

Growing lots of new dark brown hair - LOVE

Wearing bows, headbands and barrettes

Enjoying shopping trips

Loving time with your Nana, Papaw, and Auntie Em

Reaching out when someone motions to hold you

Helping us put on shirts and pjs

Getting your arms out of the belts and arching your back to help us get you out

Making an "O" with your lips and pulling your upper lip over your gums

Wearing regular size BabyLegs (lil' ones no longer cover your legs)

Sleeping in car seat during errands

Taking cat naps (30-60 minutes)

Picking up and analyzing everything

Enjoy(ed) your first weekend with Nana & Papaw (while we took Kip to Indiana Beach)

Dressing up in a new outfits for Mommy

Scratching and hitting surfaces

Trying new foods - not loving it and just not interested

Preferring bananas

Sticking out tongue often

Singing along with Mommy

Showing your wimpiness when you get "hurt" 

Interacting with and getting attention from your brother

Immitating Kip, Mommy and Daddy

Experiencing your first drought - no pools or water fun outside :0(

Playing with baby dolls, Sophie the Giraffe, light up crib machine, basketball goal, Kip's toys 

Obsessing over Mommy's iPhone 3gs (can't wait until the 5 comes out next month)

Letting us know when you are not getting your way

Enjoying time with your new nanny Miss Lindsey

Sleeping 6-10 hours with some early mornings (4:00am)

Teething - bottom two halfway in and maybe getting in more

Crying ceases when someone picks you up or sings to you

Splashing like crazy during your baths

Wearing size 2 diapers

Wearing 6-9 month clothing

Wearing size 2 shoes

Poo poo in the potty

May only be 1/2" x 1/2" in size but it was his first time nonetheless! And, we still did the potty dance!

Wyatt loves Ellie so much! Especially her squishy eyes!
